My Response to Connectivism

So, I just read the Siemen’s article entitle ‘Connectivism.’ I’m not going to lie, I was a bit lost in all the “-isms” he threw around. The one thing that did strike/perplex me was how he talked about learning that is inside a machine. Personally, I think that a machine-like a computer-can be a conduit for learning, but it is not, in the end, the teacher or the container of the knowledge. Some person had to write all that information and know it first. This might have been what he was saying; I may have been too confused to read it like that.
