Hey guys, so I was surfing the net yesterday and I found this video about post secret. It is a very touching story about an individual who posted on the site that they were thinking about jumping off of the golden gate bridge this summer. A girl saw it and decided to do something about it. Even though she didn’t know who the person was, she wanted to help the person out. So by the use of social media sites, like facebook, someone created a facebook page entitled, “Please don’t jump”. There was also videos posted to youtube and some individuals even set up an event at the bridge and wrote notes on the bridge to people who were thinking about jumping. I find it awesome that people would try to help someone out that they don’t even know. This also shows how powerful social media sites have become. Hope you guys enjoy the video and are touched just like I was.

Here is the link to it:

fun picture of the day. So one of Simon’s case studies we read last week was postsecret and you can find them all over the internet. One that my friend sent me and has to do with museums that I thought was kind of funny that I thought I would share-

I saw Frank Warren speak in Madison, WI 4 or 5 years ago. It’s such an interesting project that can be easily replicated (which it has been on many college campuses across the country). What I found most interesting is that aside from the secret and emotions, some of the postcards turn out to be such great art.
